- A ground cable is also bolted to the right side of the vehicle
- Connector
- For Driver Head Curtain Airbag Igniter -N251- or Front Passenger Head Curtain Airbag Igniter -N252-
- Disconnecting and connecting, Refer to REMOVING -> Release the connector lock -3- using a small screwdriver -1- and disconnect the connector -2- from the gas generator .

- Driver side: with Driver Head Curtain Airbag Igniter -N251-
- Passenger side: with Front Passenger Head Curtain Airbag Igniter -N252-WARNING:
Follow all Safety Precautions when working with pyrotechnic components. Refer to SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .
- Removing and installing. Refer to HEAD CURTAIN AIRBAG WITH IGNITER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, SEDAN .
- Retaining Clip
- Removing and installing. Refer to REMOVING -> Disengage the side curtain airbag retaining tab clips -1- from the body by pressing the locking mechanisms together -arrows- using needle nose pliers or o-ring pliers .
- Bolt
- 3.5 Nm
- Self-locking
- Always replace if removed
- Threaded holes for screws must always be cleaned, for example, with thread cutter
- Clip
- Quantity 1 or 2 depending on the version
- Replace
- with a factory installed mount with 1 clip and double adhesive tape, use 2 clips for re-installing.
