Cover And Padding, Removing And Installing, Rear Seat Backrest With Rear Seat Backrest Frame Or Storage Compartment: Removing

-- Remove the bench seat. Refer to SEAT BENCH/SINGLE SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the rear seat backrest. Refer to REAR SEAT BACKREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, DIVIDED REAR SEAT BACKREST .

-- Remove the headrests. Refer to HEADREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Split backrest right 2/3 with storage compartment or cover:

-- Remove center armrest. Refer to CENTER ARMREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, DIVIDED REAR SEAT BACKREST .

-- Remove the rear center belt guide. Refer to REAR SEAT BELT GUIDE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, CENTER REAR SEAT BELT GUIDE, FOLDING REAR SEAT BACKREST .

-- Remove the storage compartment (backrest cover with lock) or backrest cover:

• LOCKABLE ARMREST STORAGE COMPARTMENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
• REAR SEAT BACKREST FRAME TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, DIVIDED REAR SEAT BACKREST .
• REAR SEAT BACKREST FRAME COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, DIVIDED REAR SEAT BACKREST .

-- Remove the retainer trim. Refer to LOCKING MECHANISM TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove headrest guides. Refer to HEADREST GUIDE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Unclip the plugs -2-.

3 - Inner bracket

-- Pry the upper retaining channel -1- out of the backrest shell -3-.

-- Remove the molding -2- from the sides and bottom of the backrest shell.

Split backrest right 2/3 with storage compartment or cover:

-- Pry the molding -2- out of the tabs -arrow- on the backrest shell -1-.

Continuation for left and right rear seat backrest:

-- Pry the cover over the inner bracket.

-- Pry the cover over the outer bracket.

-- Guide the release cable with the connector station through the slit in the cover.

-- Remove the cover with padding from the backrest shell.

-- Remove the upper and lower padding from the backrest shell.
