Front Seat, Moving Into Service Position

- Trim Removal Wedge 3409
Service Position, Implementing

-- Bring headrest into lowest lock position.
-- Move seat as far back and up as possible.
NOTE:
For the sake of clarity, the figure does not show the surrounding area.
-- If equipped, pry the caps -1- from off the seat rail -2- using the Trim Removal Wedge 3409.
-- Unclip the front cover -1- with Trim Removal Wedge 3409 and pull cover in direction of -arrow- off the connector station -2-.
NOTE:
Do not disconnect electrical wires.
Move the lock carrier out of its service position.
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
-- Make sure the cover tab slides into connector station correctly.
-- Engage the cover correctly with the connector station.
