Sill Side Trim, Removing And Installing, Manual Standard/Sport Seats: Removing

-- Bring seat as far up as possible.

-- Remove the backrest adjustment wheel. Refer to BACKREST ADJUSTMENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, MANUAL STANDARD SEAT .

-- Remove seat height adjustment handle. Refer to SEAT HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT HANDLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, MANUAL STANDARD SEAT/SPORT SEAT .

-- Remove the expanding rivet -2- for the sill side trim -1-.

-- Open the clips -4- (quantity: 2).

-- Unclip trim -1- on retaining bracket -3-.

-- Disengage trim in area of backrest adjustment wheel and seat anchor.

-- Remove the trim forward and up from the retaining bracket.

NOTE:

Make sure the bracket -2- and the tab -2- are not damaged when removing the trim.

Versions with four-way lumbar support:

-- Disconnect the connector -4- from Driver Seat Lumbar Support Adjustment Switch -E176- -item. 1- on the sill-side trim -3-.

Procedure for all manual seat versions:
