Headrest, Removing And Installing, Power Headrest: Removing

-- Remove backrest panel:

Two section backrest cover. Refer to BACKREST COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, TWO PIECE .
One section backrest cover. Refer to BACKREST COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, ONE PIECE .

-- Unclip the cable tie clip -3- on the backrest frame -1-.

-- Disconnect the connector -2-.

-- Reach under the backrest cover and find the release button pressure point -3-.

-- Press the release button forward in the direction of the -arrow-.

-- Hold the release button -3- down in this position.

-- Remove the headrest -2- from the guides -1- and -4-.

CAUTION:

When removing the headrest, make sure the connector on the headrest side does not get stuck in the headrest guides or in the fixed cover cap.

-- When removing the headrest -1-, guide the wire with the connector -4- through the headrest guide -3-.
