Backrest Cover, Removing And Installing, Two Piece: Removing

WARNING:

Wear protective gloves to avoid injury from burrs that may be on the backrest cover.

-- Disengage the side lower hooks -3- (quantity 2) for the backrest cover -2- from the backrest frame trim -1-.

-- Press the backrest cover -1- toward the center of the seat in the direction of -arrow A-.

-- Remove the backrest cover back in the direction of -arrow B-.

-- Do the same on the opposite side.

-- Disengage the side backrest cover -2- -arrows A, B, E and F-.

-- Reach behind the backrest cover -1- and remove the right side from the backrest -2-.

-- Do the same to the opposite side of the backrest cover -1-.

-- Loosen the side retaining hooks -3- or -5-. Refer to Figure.

-- Remove the backrest cover -1- further and bend it until the upper hooks -2- disengage from the backrest frame.

NOTE:

The illustration does not show the upper hooks.

-- Tip the backrest cover -1- back slightly.

-- Press the backrest cover -1- down in the direction of -arrow A-.

-- Lift the backrest cover in the direction of -arrow B- and remove it from the backrest frame.
