Backrest Cover, Removing And Installing, Two Piece: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- First slide the upper hooks -2- under the top backrest frame cross panel.

-- Tilt the backrest cover down and engage the side retaining tabs -3- and -5- and the lower hooks -4-.

-- Make sure the side retaining tabs -3- and -5- engage with the backrest frame trim correctly and the lower hooks -4- slide over the backrest frame trim seats.

-- Press the backrest cover firmly into the areas marked with circles in the direction of the backrest.

-- Check if the backrest cover is correctly locked.

It must not be possible to move the backrest cover at the bottom.
