Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) Flush: Notes

Procedure
With normal ATF change, only about 55 to 60% of total ATF in transmission is replaced.
The "Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) flush" is necessary when old ATF in the transmission must be removed completely.
The ATF must always be flushed for the following work:
- Replacing the input shaft
- Maintenance work on the input shaft
As described in the following, the test run must be executed twice and then the respective ATF must be changed.
This is the only way the ATF in the transmission can be changed completely.
The following describes flushing the ATF in 7 steps.

- Perform all the work exactly as described.
