WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2016 Audi A4, 2015 Audi A4, 2014 Audi A4, 2013 Audi A4, and 2012 Audi A4. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
General:
- Contact corrosion can occur if non-approved fasteners are used on vehicle (bolts, nuts, washers, etc.).
- For this reason, only fasteners with a special surface coating may be installed.
- In addition, rubber or plastic parts and adhesive are made of materials that do not conduct electricity.
- If there are doubts about whether parts can be used or not, then use new parts.
NOTE:
We recommend using original replacement parts only. They have been inspected and are compatible with magnesium.
The use of Audi accessories is recommended.
Damage resulting from contact corrosion is not covered by the warranty.
