Oxygen Sensor 2 after Catalytic Converter -G131- BANK 2 LEFT

Removing

-- Pull rear engine cover off -arrows-.

-- Remove the coolant reservoir -arrows-.

-- Disconnect the electrical connector to the engine coolant level warning switch -F66- on the bottom of the coolant reservoir and lay the reservoir aside with the coolant hoses -1 and 2- and -2- attached.

-- Disconnect the electrical connector -1- for the oxygen sensor 2 after catalytic converter.

-- Remove the oxygen sensor 2 after catalytic converter -2- using a tool from the 3337.

NOTE:

The installation location is shown with the engine removed.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal, noting the following:

Tightening specification, refer to OXYGEN SENSORS OVERVIEW

NOTE:

Coat new oxygen sensors with an assembly paste.

When installing the previous oxygen sensor, coat the thread with hot bolt paste.

Assembly paste or hot bolt paste must not enter the slots on the oxygen sensor body.

Always install the oxygen sensor wire in the same location so it does not come into contact with the exhaust pipe.

During installation, all cable ties must be installed at the same location.
