Overview - Exhaust Manifold

Nut
- Replace
- Grease with hot bolt paste.
- Tightening specification and sequence. Refer to left Fig 2, right Fig 3
Bracket for Heat Shield
Exhaust Manifold
- Removing and installing. Refer to LEFT EXHAUST MANIFOLD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING for left side, and RIGHT EXHAUST MANIFOLD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING for right side.
Seal
- Replace
Heat Shield
Bolt
- 10 Nm
Heated Oxygen Sensor
- Before catalytic converter
- Removing and installing. Refer to HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Catalytic Converter
- Overview. Refer to OVERVIEW - MUFFLER .
Nut
- 23 Nm
- Replace
- Grease with hot bolt paste.
Seal
- Replace

-- Tighten nuts in 3 stages in -1 to 9- sequence as follows:

-- Install the bolts all the way in by hand.-- Tighten to 15 Nm.-- Tighten to 25 Nm
