Selector Lever Handle, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Move the selector lever into "N".

NOTE:

Both the selector lever handle and the selector lever boot are removed.

-- Pry the selector lever boot frame -1- out of the center console -arrows- using the Trim Removal Wedge 3409.

-- Secure the locking button in the removed position with a cable tie -arrow-, as shown in the illustration.

-- Fold the selector lever boot -1- upward and over the selector lever handle -2-.

-- Open the clamps -arrow- and remove the selector lever handle along with the selector lever boot, without pressing the locking button.
