Instrument Cluster -KX2-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing
-- Adjust steering wheel downward and to rear as far as possible, use entire adjustment range of steering column adjustment for this.
-- Turn off the ignition and remove the key.
-- Remove the gap cover. Refer to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER GAP COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Place the gap cover on upper steering column trim.
-- Vehicles through MY 2012: remove the left instrument panel vent (refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL VENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ) and the MMI screen cover (refer to MMI SCREEN COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ).
-- Vehicles from MY 2013: remove the MMI screen cover. Refer to MMI SCREEN COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.
-- Pull instrument cluster -1- out until it lies on steering wheel.
-- Disconnect the connector.
-- To disconnect the connector, press the tab -1-, turn the retaining bracket in direction of -arrow- and remove the connector.
-- Remove instrument cluster to the driver's side between steering wheel and instrument cluster.
