• Press Plate VW402
• Press Piece - Multiple Use VW412
• Press Piece - 60mm VW415A
• Press Piece - Press Tube 30-100
• Press Piece - Front Control ARM 2040
• Seal Installer - Cardan Flange T40165
• Locking Fluid AMV 185 101 A1
• Sealing Grease G 052 128 A1

-- Remove the circlip before remove the flange shaft. Refer to Fig 1.

-- Place the center differential housing so that the flange shaft does not contact the Press Plates VW401 and VW402 when pressing it on.

• The shoulder on the Press Piece - 60mm VW415A -arrow- faces the Press Piece - Multiple Use VW412.

-- Lightly coat the shaft seal on the outer circumference with oil and then install it.

-- Fill the space between the sealing and dust lip halfway with Sealing Grease G 052 128 A1.

-- Tighten the vibration damper, if applicable, before pressing the flange shaft in. Tightening specification 24 Nm.

• The flange shaft ball bearing in installed.
• The Press Piece - Press Tube 30-100 presses on the inner race of the ball bearing when pressing it onto the flange shaft.
