Sub-Assembly Bracket, Removing and Installing: Removing

Depending on the model, preliminary work may be required. Refer to Sub-Assembly Bracket, Removing and Installing .

Remove the oil filter. Refer to ENGINE OIL, EXTRACTING AND REPLACING OIL FILTER .
Place a cloth under the sub-assembly bracket to catch any escaping engine oil.
Remove the bolt -arrow- for the oil dipstick tube.
Remove the bolts -1 through 5- and pull off the sub-assembly bracket from the coolant pump housing.
