Routing the Release Cable Inside the Engine Compartment

-- Route the release cable -2- as shown in the illustration in the engine compartment along the fender -3-, beginning from the vehicle interior and working out.

-- Slide the coupling -4- onto the lock carrier. Refer to "Cable Coupling" (See Figure).
