Rearview Camera -R189-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, SEDAN: Removing

The Rearview Camera -R189- has a trailing cable. The vehicle wiring harness couplings are located in the rear lid.

-- Remove the rear lid trim panel, refer to FRONT DOOR TRIM PANELS .

-- Unlock and disconnect the connectors -1- and -2- inside the rear lid.

First the rear lid handle anti-theft system must be removed.

-- Remove the nuts -2- in the rear lid from the anti-theft system -1-.

The Rearview Camera -R189- is firmly attached to the handle button -3-.

Now remove the anti-theft system -1- from the lid handle -3-.

-- Remove nut -2-.

-- Remove the anti-theft system -1-.

The lid handle -3- is engaged in the rear lid.

-- Release both the left and right tabs on the handle button -3- and remove the handle button -3- with the Rearview Camera -R189- from the rear lid.
