Fuse Panel A -SA- IN LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- With the ignition switched off, disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Remove the vehicle tools bracket -1-.

-- If equipped, remove the subwoofer -1-. Refer to Subwoofer -R211-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

NOTE:

If it not possible to remove fuse panel A from the battery terminal, then remove the screw -4- on the battery bracket -3- and pull the battery -2- just a little to the left -arrow-.

-- Loosen the nut -1- several turns and remove the battery positive wire terminal clamp with the fuse panel A from the battery terminal.

-- Release the spring -3- and open the cover -2- over fuse panel A -arrow-.

-- Remove the wires -1, 5, 6 and 8-.

-- Remove the battery positive cable terminal -4- with fuse panel A from the battery terminal.

-- Remove the Battery Interrupt Igniter -N253- -item 7-. Refer to OVERVIEW - BATTERY INTERRUPT IGNITER .

-- Remove the fuse panel A.

NOTE:

Check the exact assignment for fuse panel A in the current wiring diagram. Refer to appropriate SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAM.
