Rear Lid Lock Cylinder Unlock Button -F248-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, SEDAN: Removing

The Rear Lid Lock Cylinder Unlock Button -F248- and when equipped the Rearview Camera -R189- are equipped with a trailing cable. The vehicle wiring harness couplings are located in the rear lid.

-- Remove the rear lid trim panel. Refer to LOWER REAR LID TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Unlock and disconnect the connectors -1- and -2- inside the rear lid.

-- Remove the nuts -2- in the rear lid from the anti-theft system -1-.

-- Remove nut -2-.

-- Remove the anti-theft system -1-.

The lid handle -3- is engaged in the rear lid.

-- Disengage both the left and right catches on the lid handle -3- and remove the lid handle -3- from the rear lid.
