Steering Angle Sensor -G85-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

-- Install airbag unit and steering wheel. Refer to STEERING WHEEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Calibrate the Steering Angle Sensor -G85-

Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester to do so.

-- On the display, select:

Suspension
Brake system
001 - OBD-capable systems
003- Brake electronics ABS/ESP

-- Select desired function on display.

ABS control module J104, ASR and ESP functions
Steering Angle Sensor -G85- calibration. Refer to Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

-- Then perform the ESP driving and system test.
