Hydraulic Oil Cooler, Removing And Installing, 8-Cylinder FSI, With Dynamic Steering: Removing

-- Remove the bolts -1, 2, 3 and 5- and remove the front lock carrier cover -4-. Refer to OVERVIEW - LOCK CARRIER .

-- Lift the lock carrier cover -4- -arrow- and disengage it from the radiator grille. Refer to OVERVIEW - LOCK CARRIER .

-- Clamp off the hydraulic lines -5- and -6- with the Hose Clamps Up To 25 mm Diameter3094.

-- Remove the clamping sleeves -3- and -4-.

-- Disconnect the hydraulic lines -5- and -6- from the hydraulic oil cooler.

-- Release the retaining tabs -3-, tilt the hydraulic oil cooler -1- forward slightly and remove it from the mounts -2- on the A/C condenser.
