Brake Rotor, Replacing, Brake Pads Removed: Installing
Clean the brake rotor, wheel hub and contact surfaces before installing.
-- Place the brake rotor on the hub.
When positioning the brake rotor, do not tilt it on the wheel hub.
-- Install the securing bolt -arrow- and tighten.
-- Install the rear brake carrier. Install and tighten the bolts -16 and 17-.
To tighten the lower bolt -16-, use a commercially available extension. For the upper bolt -17-, no extension is required. Slightly move the wheel housing liner away.
-- Install the rear brake pads. Refer to BRAKE PADS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Install the brake hose and electrical wire into the bracket on the stub axle carrier.
Make sure the brake hose is correctly installed and secured inside the combination bracket on the stub axle carrier so that the brake hose does not come out of the bracket on its own.
-- Install the wheels.
Wheel bolt tightening specification. Refer to WHEEL BOLT TIGHTENING SPECIFICATIONS .
-- Lower vehicle.
