After replacing brake pads, depress brake pedal firmly several times with vehicle stationary so that the brake pads are properly seated in their normal operating position.
To extract brake fluid from the brake fluid reservoir, use a bleeder bottle that is used exclusively for brake fluid. Brake fluid is poisonous. NEVER extract brake fluid with your mouth!

- Coat contact surfaces between brake rotor and wheel hub with Polycarbamide grease .

Bolt the bracket for the brake hose and brake pad wear wire to the stub axle carrier. Bracket bolt: 9 Nm.

Brake hose in brake caliper: 16 Nm.
Brake pressure line to brake hose: 16 Nm.

Replace each time it is removed.

- When working on the brake caliper, do not let it hang by the brake hose, but secure it to the body with suitable cable ties or wire.
- Except for "Brake Pads, Removing and Installing " and "Front Brake Caliper, Servicing", no further repairs should made to the brake caliper.
- Hose must be installed free of twistsNOTE:
Bleed the brake caliper at both bleed screws.
Bleed screw tightening specification: 15 Nm.
NOTE:No repairs may be performed on the brake caliper.

- Brake Pads
- Four installed in each front brake caliperWARNING:
There are four brake pads installed per side. Only the inner top brake pad in the left brake caliper has a connection for the brake pad wear indicator.
- The brake pad backing plates are equipped with an adhesive film. Remove the protective film from the adhesive surface before inserting.
- Always replace on both axles.

- Check the brake pad thickness. NOTE:
Before installing new brake pads, thoroughly clean the brake calipers of contaminants (grease-free). When doing so, pay particular attention to removing any remaining adhesive foil on outer brake pad contact surfaces.
- Four installed in each front brake caliper
Close the bleed screw and tighten to 14 Nm.
