Brake Rotor, Replacing, 1LT And 1LY: Removing

-- Raise the vehicle.
-- Remove the wheels.
-- Remove the front brake pads. Refer to BRAKE PADS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 1LT AND 1LY .
Do not let the brake caliper hang from the brake hose. Secure it to the body with suitable cable ties or wire. Do not support the weight with the brake hose.
-- Remove the bolts -5- on the front brake carrier.
-- Remove the front brake carrier.
-- Remove the bolt -arrow- on the brake rotor while holding the brake rotor firmly.
-- Remove the brake rotor.
NOTE:
When removing the brake rotor from the wheel hub, do not tilt the brake rotor.
