Inner Tail Lamps, Removing And Installing, Led (AVANT Through My 2012): Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Tightening specification: 3.5 Nm

NOTE:

Make sure the seal between the body and tail lamp housing seals correctly.

-- Position the inner tail lamp on the outer edge of the rear lid.

-- Slide the clamping bracket -2- onto the inner tail lamp threaded pins.

The guide pins -4- on the tail lamp must engage in the mount -3- on the clamping bracket.

-- Tighten the nut -1-.

NOTE:

When tightening the nuts, the clamping bracket wedges itself onto the rear lid -arrows-.
