Inner Tail Lamps, Removing And Installing, Led (AVANT From My 2013): Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Tightening specification: 4 Nm

NOTE:

Make sure the seal between the body and tail lamp housing seals correctly.

-- Push the clamping bracket -2- onto the threaded pin on the inner tail lamp and tighten the nut -1- 3 turns.

-- Position the inner tail lamp on the outer edge of the rear lid so that the clamping bracket audibly engages.

-- Press the tail lamp against the rear lid and tighten the nut at the same time.

NOTE:

When tightening the nuts, the clamping bracket wedges itself onto the rear lid -arrows-.
