Rear Parking Aid Sensor, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Audi RS 4: remove the rear bumper cover. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Outer sensors:

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- on the bottom side of the bumper cover.

Vehicles with a rear muffler:

-- Remove the nuts -5- and -7- and remove the retaining element -6-.

-- Remove the pin -arrow- and expanding clip -1-.

-- Remove the nuts -2- and -3- and remove the rear aerodynamic underbody trim panel -4-.

Continuation for all sensors:

-- Reach behind the bumper cover from below.

Inner sensor - Sedan:

-- Remove the rear bumper cover. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Press both retainer tabs to side -arrows- and press sensor -2- from outside towards inside.

-- Disconnect the connector -1- from the sensor.
