High-Mounted Brake Lamp Bulb -M25-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (AVANT): Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE:

If the High-Mounted Brake Lamp Bulb -M25- (LEDs) is faulty, then the entire high-mounted brake lamp must be replaced.

New high-mounted brake lamps are ready for installation and are delivered in the correct installation position.

If the same high-mounted brake lamp will be reused in the rear lid, for example after painting, it must be prepared for installation. Refer to HIGH-MOUNTED BRAKE LAMP, PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION, AVANT .

-- Connect the connector and insert the high-mounted brake lamp in the rear lid opening.

-- Press the high-mounted brake lamp into the opening until it engages.

-- Install the upper rear lid trim panel. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - REAR LID TRIM PANELS .
