Left/Right Front Turn Signal Bulb -M5- / -M7-, Removing And Installing, Halogen Headlamps (Through My 2012): Removing

-- Remove the headlamp housing. Refer to HEADLAMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, HALOGEN HEADLAMPS THROUGH MY 2012 .

NOTE:

To replace the front turn signal bulb, the headlamp housing must be cut at the location provided with a sharp box cutter.

A housing cover can be ordered to seal the installation opening.

WARNING:

There is a risk of injury and damage.

Wear protective gloves and eyewear.
To avoid damaged electrical wires in the headlamp housing, do not cut too deep.

-- Cut the blind cover -2- out of the headlamp housing with a sharp carpet knife.

-- Remove the high beam housing cover -1- from the headlamp housing.

-- Turn the socket -1- counterclockwise -arrow- and remove it from the housing.

-- Slide the turn signal bulb socket -2- upward toward the high beam opening.

-- Disconnect the connector -3- and remove the socket from the housing.
