Impact Member, Removing And Installing, Vehicles Without Trailer Hitch: Removing

-- Remove the rear bumper cover. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Disconnect the connector on the Radio Frequency Controlled Clock Receiver -J489-.
NOTE:
If the impact member -3- is replaced, the Radio Frequency Controlled Clock Receiver -J489- must be removed. Refer to [For engine(s) CCBA, CGXC, CTUB, CAED, CAEB, CALA, CPMB, CPMA] Clock .
-- Remove the bolts -1- by counterholding the nuts -2-.
-- Remove the impact member -3-.
