C-Pillar-Trim Panel, Removing And Installing (Sedan): Removing

Follow all Safety Precautions when working with pyrotechnic components. Refer to SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .
-- Remove the rear shelf. Refer to REAR SHELF, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the rear outer belt guide. Refer to REAR SEAT BELT GUIDE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (SEDAN) .
-- Remove the rear grab handle. Refer to ROOF GRAB HANDLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
CAUTION:
- The headliner must be pressed to the side slightly during the following steps. Do this very carefully because the headliner can be creased easily.
- Replace the headliner if it is bent.
-- Remove the expanding clip -1- with the Pry Lever 80-200.
-- Use the Pry Lever 80-200 to unclip the C-pillar trim panel -item 2- -arrows- and carefully remove it.
