Luggage Compartment Side Trim Panel, Removing And Installing (Sedan): Removing

Omega Clip Tool T40280 is needed to remove any clips that are still in the body mounting points.

-- Versions with rear side airbag: remove the rear side airbag. Refer to REAR SIDE AIRBAG WITH IGNITER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the side cushion. Refer to SIDE CUSHION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- For vehicles with a fixed rear seat backrest: remove the rear seat backrest. Refer to REAR SEAT BACKREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, FIXED REAR SEAT BACKREST .

-- Remove the luggage compartment liner. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (SEDAN) .

-- Remove the rear cross panel trim. Refer to LOCK CARRIER TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (SEDAN) .

-- Remove the tie-down. Refer to TIE DOWN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the expanding clips -1- with the Pry Lever 80-200.

-- Pry the luggage compartment side trim panel -2- out of the body -arrows- using the Pry Lever 80-200.

-- Disengage the luggage compartment side trim at the hinges and remove it.
