Speaker Trim, Removing And Installing, Center Speaker: Removing

NOTE:

Be very careful when removing and installing the speaker trim -1- because the speaker trim clips -1- can easily break.

When removing the speaker trim -1-. lay a cloth -3- between the instrument panel and the Trim Removal Wedge 3409 -2- to protect the instrument panel.

CAUTION:

When removing speaker trim -1- do not pull it up high, otherwise the front retaining pins will break off.

-- Begin removing the speaker trim -1- with the Trim Removal Wedge 3409 -2- starting at the right rear curve.

-- Then release the speaker trim -1- with the Trim Removal Wedge 3409 -2- to the left. Do not lift the speaker trim -1- more than -a- = 3 cm when doing this.

-- When the back of the speaker trim -1- is released, lift it up, pull it toward the back and remove it upward.
