Sill Panel Trim, Removing And Installing, AUDI RS 4: Removing

-- Remove the front wheel housing liner. Refer to FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the rear aerodynamic trim panel. Refer to OVERVIEW - UNDERBODY PANELS .

-- Loosen the expanding clip -2, 3-.

-- Remove the sill panel trim -1- near the fender from the retainer in direction of -arrow-.

-- Open all of the doors.

-- Carefully warm the sill panel trim -1- using Hot Air Blower VAG1416.

-- Carefully loosen the adhesive -2, 3- from the side panel.

-- Remove the sill panel trim -1- with help from a second technician.

First remove the sill panel trim securing tabs from the side panel.
Then remove the securing tabs from the sill.
