Glove Compartment Lid Braking Element, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Switch the ignition off and remove the ignition key.

-- Remove the side cover from the instrument panel on the passenger side. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL SIDE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disengage the right instrument panel fuse panel and slide to the side. Refer to Release Tool Set VAS1978/35 .

-- Disconnect the connector -3-.

-- Remove the hinge bolts -1-.

-- Turn the switch -2- counterclockwise -arrow- and remove it.
