Instrument cluster, removing and installing

Special hook for front end 3370

Removing

NOTE: Do not disassemble instrument cluster.

Determining input values when replacing instrument cluster:

Do this using vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051.

Pull steering wheel with adjusting mechanism fully out and move it downward.

Remove lower cover at instrument cluster to rear using 3370 special hook.
Disengage upper cover at instrument cluster.

Remove bolts -arrows-.

Remove instrument cluster to rear using 3370 special hook.

Unclip securing bracket of connectors -arrow- and disconnect connectors.

Installing

Installation is reverse of removal, paying attention to the following:

After installation, perform a function test of the instrument cluster.
If the function test is OK, enter the input values for the instrument cluster:

Do this using vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051.
