Battery, removing and installing: Removing

Switch ignition off.
Remove rubber seal from plenum chamber cover.

Remove plenum chamber cover -1- from the front -arrows-.

Disconnect Ground (GND) strap -1- on battery negative terminal and disconnect positive cable -2- at battery positive terminal.
Loosen bolt -4- using a ball head hex socket wrench only until socket-head rubs against suspension cross-brace.
Leave socket-head bolt and securing bracket -3- in place, and swivel out battery from under securing bracket.

Disconnect angle piece of central gas venting system -arrow-.
Lift battery out of plenum chamber.
