Checking battery for secure seating

If battery is not securely seated, the following dangers exist:

Shortened service life caused by vibration damage.
The cells in battery will be damaged if battery is not secured correctly.
Damage to battery housing by clamping bracket (possible acid leakage, high subsequent costs).
Poor crash safety.

Make sure that battery does not leak, only install genuine battery caps.
Use genuine sealing plugs of same construction if lost or damaged.
The sealing plugs must be provided with an O-ring.
