Notes for repairs on CAN-Bus wires
WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 16 other vehicles, including the 2009 Audi S4, 2009 Audi A4, 2008 Audi S4, 2008 Audi RS 4, and 2008 Audi A4. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Use an unshielded two-wire line - 1 - and - 2 - (cross-section 0.35 mm 2 or 0.5 mm 2 ) as CAN-Bus bus wire.
- color coding of CAN-Bus bus wires:

| Convenience CAN-Bus High | orange/green |
| Infotainment CAN-Bus High | orange/violet |
| CAN-Bus Low (all) | orange/brown |
- Only use yellow wires for repairs to wiring. Mark location of repair with yellow insulating tape.
- Both bus wires must be of the same length when repairing. When twisting the wires - 1 - and - 2 - , length of twist - A - = 20 mm must be attained.
- When making repairs, there must be no untwisted section of wire which is longer than - B - = 50 mm, e.g. in the vicinity of heat-shrink sleeves - arrow -.
