Chip Card Reader R99 , removing and installing

Removing

Remove glove compartment → - 68 - INTERIOR EQUIPMENT .
Carefully unclip wire to Chip Card Reader R99 and disconnect connector.

Remove screws - 1 - (1 Nm) and carefully slide Chip Card Reader R99 out of glove compartment.

Installing

Install in reverse order.
The Operating Electronics, Navigation Control Module J402 must be adapted accordingly the first time the Chip Card Reader R99 is installed or when module is replaced.

Use the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051 to do so.
