Airbag adapter VAS 6036
NOTE:
- The mechanic must electrostatically discharge him/herself before disconnecting ignition and ground (GND) wires (briefly touch closing wedge for door or body).
CAUTION:
The airbag adapter VAS 6036 must remain connected to the seat until the seat is reinstalled.

1 - Airbag connector (yellow)
- Attach airbag connector (yellow) - 1 - to airbag adapter connector - 2 -.
- If present: Connect the airbag adapter power supply connector (red) - 3 - to the seat connector power supply connector (red) - 4 -.

3 - Airbag adapter power supply connector (red)
4 - Airbag adapter power supply connector (red)
Disconnecting plug for side airbag
- Press tab - 3 - for side airbag connector - 2 - from Airbag connector - 1 - and disconnect connector.
NOTE:
- When connecting the battery observe the necessary measures. →

- If Airbag Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) K75 signals a malfunction after assembly, use vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051 A to interrogate, erase and then again interrogate DTC memory.
