Control unit, removing and installing

NOTE:

The control unit for the memory seat and the electric seat is under the drivers seat.
If the control unit is defective, the top support of the seat pan and backrest must be removed → Front seat with faulty forward and backward seat adjustment motor or defective control unit, removing and installing .

Remove seat → Seat, assembly overview .
Remove bolts - 2 - (2x). Tightening torque 1.5 Nm
Turn control unit - 1 - over.

Disengage retaining clip - 4 - and disconnect connector - 5 -.
Press retainer tabs - 3 - (2x) and disconnect connector - 2 -.
Remove control unit - 1 -.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal.
