Connectors, disconnecting

NOTE:

The mechanic must electrostatically discharge him/herself before disconnecting ignition and ground (GND) wires (briefly touch closing wedge for door or body).

1 - Front seat

2 - Buckle interrogation connector (black)

3 - Seat heating connector (green)

4 - Power supply connector (red)

5 - Airbag connector (yellow)

6 - Connector point cover

Removing

Tilt front seat - 1 - back.
Remove connection point cover - 6 - upward.
Press tab on airbag connector - 5 - inboard side and remove airbag connector - 5 -.
Connect airbag adapter → Airbag adapter VAS 6036 , connecting .

Press tab on power supply connector - 4 - inboard side and remove power supply connector - 4 -.
Press tab on seat heating connector - 3 - inboard side and remove seat heating connector - 3 -.
For vehicles with buckle interrogation: Press in tab on buckle interrogation connector - 2 - inboard side and remove buckle interrogation connector - 2 -.
