Removing instrument panel vent

- Disconnect connector for instrument panel vent light.
NOTE:
- The illustration shows instrument panel vent on passenger side.
- The center instrument panel vents must be pulled out to detach connector for light.
- Move rear air flaps of instrument panel vent into central position by turning adjustment wheel - 1 -.

- Guide tool 3438 in position - 2 - or - 3 - into instrument panel vent.
- Hook tool 3438 by slightly moving it into recesses - 4 - at rear end of instrument panel vent.
