High and low pressure testing

Before starting: 

Make sure that the brake system (master cylinder, brake hoses, brake lines and brake calipers) is free of leaks.

High-pressure test:

If pressure drops by more than 4 bar, inspect brake system for leaks and repair as required.

Low-pressure testing: 

NOTE:
  • Only perform low-pressure test if result of high-pressure test is OK.

If drop in pressure exceeds specification: replace ABS hydraulic unit.
