Speed sensor on rear axle, removing and installing: Notes

Loosen wheel bolts.
Raise vehicle.
Remove wheel.
Switch ignition off.

Remove hex bolt - 1 -.
Remove speed sensor from wheel bearing housing.
Loosen Torx bolt - 3 - and remove cable bracket.

Remove hex bolt - 1 -.
Loosen Torx bolt - 2 - and remove cable bracket.

Unclip speed sensor wiring from retainers.

Detach underbody cover - arrow -
Lift rear seat out of locking device.

Release cable bracket, disconnect speed sensor connector - 1 - and press out grommet (left and right sides are mirror image).

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal.

Before installing, lubricate speed sensor seal all around with lubricating paste G 000 650 .
