Flange shaft (left-side), removing and installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Removing

CAUTION: If the shaft is not kept centered, the splines of the shaft will fall against the inner seal between the final drive and transmission housing. The seal will be damaged and require replacement → Final drive/transmission housing oil seal, replacing .

Installing 

Installation is performed in reverse sequence. Note the following:

NOTE:

Tightening torques

Retaining bracket for left flange shaft to transmission 23
Heat shield for drive axle to transmission 23
