Checking internal resistance

Switch off ignition.

Disconnect connector - arrow - at camshaft adjuster.

Connect multimeter and measure resistance at valve.

Specification: 10...18 Ω

If reading does not match specification:

Replace valve.

If measured value matches specification:

Check power supply.
