Lower Timing Chain Cover, Tightening Specifications And Sequence

NOTE:

Replace any bolts that were tightened with an additional turn.

-- Tighten bolts in 8 stages as follows:

Stage	Bolts	Tightening Specification/Additional Turn
1.	-Arrows-	3 Nm
2.	-1 through 10-	3 Nm in a diagonal sequence
3.	-1, 2, 4, 5, 7- and -arrows-	Tighten 90° further
4.	-8, 9, 10-	8 Nm
5.	-8, 9, 10-	Tighten 90° further
6.	-3-	16 Nm
7.	-6-	20 Nm
8.	-6-	Tighten 90° further
