Ribbed Belt, Vehicles With Electro-Mechanical Power Steering: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Tightening specification, refer to SUPERCHARGER RIBBED BELT DRIVE OVERVIEW .

-- Place the ribbed belt over the pulley as illustrated.

Generator
Idler roller
Coolant pump
A/C Compressor
Ribbed belt tensioning damper
Vibration damper

NOTE:

When installing the ribbed belt, make sure it is seated correctly on the pulleys.

-- Install the left front coolant pipes LEFT FRONT COOLANT PIPES .

-- Start the engine and check the belt routing.

-- Install the compressor ribbed belt SUPERCHARGER RIBBED BELT .
